Light Scares
The light scares me
As I walk alone
Shadows move around
Sometimes In front
Aside sometimes
Alone I walk
As shadows move around
The light chases me
Towards the thick of darkness
Where no shadows fall
The voice of night fades away
Like a rambling of a drunkard

Beautiful. The profound lines paint a vivid imagery of life's reality. We are the constants in our lives and everything else is fleeting. Loved it.

DeleteReally nice. I don't know how you envisaged it, but for me this can be considered as two poems or one single poem. Congratulations 👏.
